Comprehensive Stool Analysis + Parasitology

Comprehensive Stool Analysis + Parasitology

The Comprehensive Stool Analysis evaluates essential indicators of digestion, absorption, and intestinal health. This includes an extensive examination of bacterial and yeast cultures to identify beneficial, imbalanced, and dysbiotic flora. MEt top-tier techniques like PCR to pinpoint infectious pathogens and parasites. Additionally, we conduct antimicrobial susceptibility tests on cultured bacterial and fungal strains, enabling us to suggest both prescriptive and natural remedies.

About

The Comprehensive Stool Analysis + Parasitology (CSAP) is a crucial diagnostic tool empowering us to evaluate the condition of beneficial and imbalanced commensal bacteria, pathogenic bacteria, yeast/fungus, and parasites. Identifying pathogenic species and conducting susceptibility testing aids in selecting the most appropriate pharmaceutical or natural treatment agents.

Our Comprehensive Stool Analysis test encompasses:

Assessment of digestion and absorption of nutrients (Pancreatic Elastase, Muscle Fibers, and Vegetable Fibers)
Evaluation of elimination efficiency of undigested food residues and toxins
Analysis of the gut microbiome, measuring levels of healthy bacterial flora versus potentially pathogenic bacteria species, yeast, and parasites
Culture and sensitivities of pathogenic yeast and bacteria
Detection of infectious pathogens (EIA evaluation for Campylobacter, Enterohemorrhagic E. coli cytotoxin, Giardia lamblia, and Cryptosporidium)
Evaluation of indices and markers of intestinal immune function (Secretory IgA)
Analysis of indices and markers of inflammation (Calprotectin, Lactoferrin, and Lysozyme)
Examination of indices and markers of intestinal physiology and health (Presence of RBC, WBC, Mucus, Occult Blood, Fecal pH, and Short Chain Fatty Acids)

Basic Instructions

Stool: The sample must be collected on two separate days (at least 12 hours apart). The specimen must be received within seven days of the first collection.

The patient must discontinue digestive enzymes, antacids, iron supplements, vitamin C over 250 mg, aspirin, anti-inflammatories, probiotics, and large amounts of meat 48 hours before collecting the specimen.
